Soccer Heading Drills
The header in soccer is useful to hit higher balls. It's usually combined with elevation and allows the soccer player to quickly push away high balls. To perform a header you need timing, coordination, balance and jumping skills.
Players can use headers even without jumping: in this case it's called a “bunt”, that is a short pass performed with the head, changing the trajectory fo the ball towards a teammate.
