Using markers, create a 25x25-meter/27x27-yard play square. Along two opposite sides place two mini-goals on each side (width of about 1.5 meters and distance between them of about 10 meters/11 yards). Using markers divide the play square into zones creating an inner hexagon (as in the picture). The center strip of the hexagon is 10 meters/11 yards wide, so we will have a horizontal central strip measuring 10x25 meters/11x27 yards. Laterally, to the left and right of the central zone, create two triangles to complete the hexagon figure. The players are divided into two teams of four members each (red team against white team). The players are arranged on the field as follows: two red players and two white players in the central area where they will play rondos with the help of two neutral players (yellow players in the picture). One red and one white player inside the side triangles, one pair on each side.
- The game always starts in the central strip of the field where a rondo of 2 v 2 (whites against reds) is played with the help of 2 jokers (yellows) for those in possession of the ball, then an actual situation of 4 v 2 is created (numerical superiority for those in possession of the ball)
- The two pairs positioned in the outer triangles participate in ball possession, each player with their own team; thus there is a positional ball possession of 4 red against 4 white players with 2 jokers in the central area playing with whoever is in possession of the ball
- The aim of both teams is to be able to pass the ball, always passing through the central strip of the field, from one triangle to the other without interception by the opponents
- Having done this, when the ball reaches the player of one's own team positioned in the opposite triangle, the player can score in one of the 2 mini-goals arranged on their own side
- In this case, the player can be countered by the opponent, who, if they win the ball, replays it to their teammates in the central area of the field, restarting with the rondo and aiming to pass the ball to the teammate on the opposite side for the goal
- Whenever the ball leaves the field, it passes to the opposing team by resuming play with ball possession in the central zone
- Free touches available to players from both teams
- Limited touches for the two neutral players
- At the end of each series reverse the positions of the pairs of players in the outer triangles with the players in the central area. Try to alternate players in the joker role as well
- The team that has scored the most goals in the mini-goals at the end of the drill wins
- Encourage players' mobility to create more and more passing lines for the ball carrier
- Stimulate the involvement of outside players in the triangle area as supports during ball possession
- Keep the intensity of possession high with good pressure on opponents to regain the ball
- Stimulate dribbling, imagination and resourcefulness of the forwards in the 1 v 1 situation for finishing
- Taking care of individual defensive tactics in the 1 v 1 situation
