Create a rectangle-shaped playing field of 30x24 meters/33x26 yards using markers. Divide the playing area in half with a horizontal center line of markers, creating two horizontal strips 12 meters/13 yards deep. We will thus have the field divided into two equally sized zones. Divide the players into two teams of six members each (red versus white team in the picture). The players arrange themselves with an initial arrangement of 4 + 2 (as in the picture), that is, four players in their own half of the field and the remaining two in the opposite half of the field. This creates an initial 4 v 2 situation in both halves of the field in favor of one team and the other. Place a good supply of balls outside the playing field.
- The aim of the two teams is to score by crossing the end line into the opponent's half of the field driving the ball or receiving a through pass (verticalization) across the end line with an insertion into space, attacking the depth with the right timing
- Whoever starts with possession of the ball has an initial numerical superiority situation in their own half of 4 v 2 to develop play from the back and conquer the opponent's half of the field
- Once the opponent's half of the field has been conquered, all the players of the team can support the attacking action thus potentially playing a 6 v 4 (because the 2 opposing attackers can only be in the opponent's half of the field)
- Each time a player brings the ball over the end zone a point is awarded to the team and play resumes with ball to opponents
- Players have a maximum of three ball touches for the play
- The offside rule applies: a player cannot station beyond the end line in the opponent's half and receive the pass, but must get there with a deep-attacking movement with the right timing
- The team that scores the most points wins
- Whenever a team scores, opponents resume play from their own half of the field
- Leave free touches available for players, this encourages more individual duels in the game
- Take care of speed and passing intensity so as not to give the team that is defending time to get organized. Quickly exploit numerical superiority during ball possession
- Take care of collective and individual defensive tactics
- Stimulate the transition phase on winning back the ball
