Create a 20x15-meter/22x16-yard playing field with markers and place a goal in the center of one short side. Near the vertex of the other short side opposite to the goal, form a mini square of 1 meter with four cones (as in the picture near the right vertex). Group A (three red strikers) stands on the vertex next to the mini square and each player has a ball. On the vertices on either side of the goal place, respectively, group B (three red strikers) and the group of defenders in white jersey (as in the picture: on the left side the strikers, on the right side of the goal the defenders). In the center of the field arrange a cone.
2 v 1 situations with unmarking movement of the player without the ball:
- Player A starts off running with the ball passing inside the mini-square. As soon as the player leaves the square they swerve quickly and point toward the goal
- The white defender sprints to pressure striker A
- Teammate B, without the ball, simultaneously sprints toward the cone placed in the center of the field to touch it (constraint). After touching the cone, player B makes a lateral movement to open up by lowering onto the teammate's line and then positioning themselves with the correct body orientation to benefit the next play of teammate A
- The pair of players A and B must try to finish on goal by getting past the white defender
- When the play is over, everyone returns to their starting rows
- The player without the ball (striker of group B) has to touch the cone placed in the center of the field before proposing to the teammate with the ball to play the 2 v 1 situation against the defender
- The offside rule applies (in this way, the player without the ball must clear and give passing solution to the teammate)
- At the end of the first series, reverse the starting vertex of the ball-guiding strikers (to the left of the goal) and also rotate the starting positions of the groups of strikers
- Place a mini-goal on the short side opposite to the goal where the defender can score a goal if they win possession of the ball
Who's attacking:
- Spread out the attacking front as much as possible (width to find depth)
- Pay attention to the unmarking movement to lower of the striker without the ball, with the right orientation of the body to have a correct view of the development of the game
- Do not be on the same line (be staggered)
- For those who have the ball, aim for the goal at high speed
- Watch out for offside
Who's defending:
- Place yourself between the opponent, the ball, and the center of the goal
- Don't get too drawn to the ball
- Raise the offside line as much as possible to cut off the line of passing to the supporting side attacker
- Shield the possible collaboration between the two attackers
- Interpret the ball carrier's intentions
