Create a playing field of 40x30 meters/44x33 yards. Form 5 mini-goals (each 1 meter wide) using the cones and place them in the field as shown in the picture. Split the players in two teams of 7 players each using the vests. One of the teams starts with the ball.
- At the starting signal, the team with the ball begins a possession game against the opponent team
- The objective of the team, in addition to maintaining the ball as long as possible, is to shoot at one of the 5 goals to score 1 point
- The point is assigned only if the ball, after passing through the goal, is received by a teammate (ex. in the picture)
- After each goal, the game continues with the team who has possession trying to score again in another goal
- It's forbidden to score consecutive goals in the same mini-goal
- At the end of the exercise the team with the most points wins
- Go on goal only after 4 consecutive passes
- The number of ball touches allowed is unlimited during the match, but is very important that teams try to give the greatest speed possible during possession
- Form triangles to avoid the opposing players closing down passing lines
- Take care of the negative transition, once the ball has been lost the player who is near it puts pressure on the opponent while the teammates get closer
- Take care of the distances between the players
- Take care of the body's orientation while receiving the ball, it must be always facing the largest part of the field
- Encourage the Give and Go: after passing the ball to a teammate, the player keeps on running to enter another free space where they can receive the ball again
- The ball-carrier must have a minimum number of teammates to ensure a pass at any time
- The closest player to the ball carrier must decide what to do, an approaching movement or a movement into space, activating in this way the movements of their teammates
- Encourage players to perform a counter attack to get out of marking and receive the ball
- To create continuous movement and maintain appropriate positioning, if two players are close on the same line on the field, they must move to create diagonal passing lines
