On one half of the court place two forwards on the edge of the box and four players on the halfway line, as midfielders and forwards of a 4-4-2 system. Place the other players behind the midfielders waiting for their turn. Give a ball to external players.
The goal of the drill is to finish after switching play and performing a cross.
- The wing A passes the ball to forward F
- F passes to the midfielder B; D sprints in the lateral band
- B performs a switch of play on D; A attacks in depth on the lateral band and the midfielder C goes towards the edge of the box
- D controls the ball and drives it along the lateral band; forwards E and F attack the box and the wing A approaches the penalty area
- D performs a cross towards the box
- E finishes
