Using markers, create a playing field of 15x25 meters. In the middle of both short sides place a small goal about 1.5 meters wide (you can use two pairs of poles). In the center of the field place two markers that will represent the starting points of the two defenders. Place two attackers (white players) on either side of a small goal and two defenders (red players) on the two starting markers. The coach stands off the field, about halfway up, with a good supply of balls. The other four players (two red and two white) wait outside the pitch. Work alternately with four players at a time in a 2 v 2 situation.
- A 2v2 situation is played with free ball touches
- The game begins with the coach passing the ball to the two attackers positioned near a small goal
- As soon as the coach passes the ball, the two defenders, starting from the central markers, press the attackers to try to duel
- The attackers must get past their opponents and the halfway line to then decide on which of the two goals to shoot (the one they started from or the one on the opposite side)
- If the defenders win the ball they can score a goal, but only on the small goal that is on the opposite half of the field from where they won the ball
- Attackers receiving the ball from the coach must cross the half field before they can score in either goal and must have made at least one pass between them for the goal to be valid
- Attackers have 10 repetitions per pair
- At the end of the first series, reverse the roles of the attackers with the defenders
- Encourage individual duels (dribbling, motor fantasy and improvisation, feints, ball defense, etc.)
- Take care of the ability to position oneself in the free zone and always create passing solutions for the ball carrier
- Encourage hand-to-hand (duel, ball protection, use of arms and correct body posture for ball defense)
- Encourage intensity and mobility of players
