Create a 33x33-yard field using markers. Players are divided into three teams of five members each (gray team, white team and blue team in the picture). Two teams (white and gray) and one neutral player (blue) are arrayed inside the playing area. Four more neutral players (blue) are placed outside the possession square, along the four sides, one on each side. Keep a good supply of balls close to the playing area to give continuity to ball possession.
- Eleven players start the game in the center of the square, 5-on-5 with a joker (blue in the picture) with 4 joker players, one on each side
- One of the two teams starts in possession of the ball and must maintain it by playing with the jokers (neutral players)
- With each player - outside or inside joker - player combination, the four outside jokers rotate changing their position outside the square (example in the picture)
- As long as the four neutral players rotate, the inside players momentarily lose their outside references and must maintain possession by taking advantage of the new passing lines created by the movement of the outside players
- If the players in inferiority recover the ball, they must try to get it out of the square with the cooperation of the inside joker, and all other players must try to prevent this by creating pressure on the ball carrier and closing possible passing lines
- Players must never occupy the same passing line
- In each series rotate the team whose players serve as neutral players
- Three touches maximum available to all players participating in ball possession
- Create triangles of possession, useful to avoid the opposing player, enclosing them within the triangles
- Take care of the reaction to negative transition and of the overall distances between players
- Take care of the orientation of the body when receiving the ball; it must always be open to the largest portion of the field
- The ball carrier must have, at their disposal, a minimum number of teammates who can guarantee a pass at any time (at least one forward pass and one backward pass)
- The player closest to the ball carrier must choose what to do triggering the relative movement of teammates
- Encourage players to make the countermovement for clearing and consequent reception of the ball
- To trigger continuous mobility and maintain appropriate staggering, two nearby players who are on the same line should move by creating diagonal lines of play
